By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Medical Disclaimer. The App is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, examination, or treatment. The App's AI-generated assessments are not a diagnosis. Always consult a board-certified dermatologist or physician for any medical concern. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something in the App.

1. Educational Purpose Only

The App provides general educational content about skin health, sun safety, and personal-care product ingredients. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.

2. No Doctor–Patient Relationship

Using the App does not create a doctor–patient or any professional relationship between you and us or any third party.

3. Not for Emergencies

Do not use the App for medical emergencies. If you may have an emergency, or notice a rapidly changing, bleeding, or concerning lesion, contact a licensed medical professional or your local emergency number immediately.

4. AI Limitations

The App uses artificial intelligence, which can be inaccurate, incomplete, or wrong. Image quality, lighting, and other factors affect results. No accuracy is guaranteed. Independently verify any information before acting on it.

5. Assumption of Risk

You voluntarily accept all risks of using the App, including the risk that an assessment may be incorrect or that a condition may go undetected. You are solely responsible for your health decisions and for seeking appropriate professional care.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkinGuard LLC and its owners, contributors, and providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App or its content, including reliance on AI-generated results — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account (or have the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian). The App is not directed to children under 13.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App lawfully and for personal, non-commercial purposes; not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the App; and to provide accurate information.

10. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time within the App.

11. Intellectual Property

The App and its content are owned by SkinGuard LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
