Delete Your Account & Data

For the Skinwise mobile application, operated by SkinGuard LLC.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)

The fastest way is directly in the app:

1. Open Skinwise and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the Account section at the bottom.
4. Tap ⚠️ Delete Account and confirm.

This permanently deletes your account and removes your data, including any scan history stored on your device.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email us from the address associated with your account:

We will verify your request and permanently delete your account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account record (name, email, and securely hashed password) stored on our backend.
• Your authentication sessions.
• Scan history, care plans, and profile data stored on your device.

What we do not keep

Your scan photos are never stored on our servers — they are processed only to generate your results and discarded immediately. There is therefore no stored photo data to delete on our side.

Data retention

Once your account is deleted, your account record is removed from our systems. Limited records may be retained only where required by law; otherwise nothing is kept.
